Tru TV's Haunting Evidence is an Oxymoron

Tru TV's so called "reality" show, "Haunting Evidence", is absolutely nerve wracking to watch, at least for the non-delusional person. On a recent episode, the show had hired some so called "psychics" to figure out what happened to Natalie Holloway, the young girl that disappeared a few years back in Aruba. They label these "psychics" with all different titles, and some work with only their "mind", and one works with instruments of some kind or another. It shows the "psychics" walking in downtown Aruba, making comments about how they can "feel" that Natalie is drinking, and has all kinds of people around her,(things a young woman would have obviously done while vacationing in Aruba), and they seemed to agree that she left the area? Well, if shes not there now, I guess she would have to have left. Anyway, it just gets to my nerves that there are evidently enough people that fall for this garbage, to pay for the show to be on the air, for if no one watched it, it wouldn't be around for very long. Then this dawned on me. The same people that watch this show, and others similar, also vote. Man, that scares the crap outta me. I guess I'll watch Jerry Springer, or some professional wrestling, or maybe even CNN's Nancy Grace(now that show is real!) for a change. If I wanted to watch make believe stuff, then I will watch shows for children like cartoons and other fantasy stuff, not some scammers walking around like they are totally entitled, by the "Universe" or whatever, to "feel" things about "things", that most of us "mortals", cannot feel. And the dadblame emperor's new clothes look fine to my wife, but I cannot see em. |
