How to Remove a Bug From Ear By Harry Hanks This is what to do, in that unforeseen instance of having a bug, of any kind, crawl into the ear canal, and roost! Everybody that has heard of this solution, has also heard a story(could be an urban legend), of a friend or relative having been driving crazy, by a bug in the ear, until they shelled out the cash to go to the emergency room, only to have the doctor perform this simple procedure. One simply turns his/her head on it's side, with the infested ear on top, and either him/herself pours water into the ear, or best have someone else pour water into the ear. Fill the ear canal all the way to the top, wait a second or two, and if the bug is still alive(don't let it die before resorting to this!), it will swim to the top, for it needs air just like humans to survive. As soon as the little irritant shows it's ugly head, grab it, and put it out of your misery! Contributor's Note My mother always tells the story of an Aunt, that had this exact thing happen to her.
