How to Really Get a "free credit report" By Harry Hanks Anyone responding to a commercial or "Googleing", for a free credit report beware. There is only one place to actually get a "free" credit report, and that is at the official government site, www.annualcreditreport.com, and DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THIS PURPOSE, OR YOU WILL GET SCAMMED. Without going into all the reasons you will get scammed(having your credit card charged monthly, cannot cancel, etc), I cannot stress more, that if you go to any adwords advertiser, or any other web address, IT IS A SCAM, AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO, OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED, AND CONTINUOUSLY CHARGED! Got to any consumer reporting site such as the Better Business Bureau, or go to the links attached to this article, and you will see thousands of consumer ripoff complaints.
