Frog Leg Stew
By Harry Hanks
When one thinks of eating frog legs, one usually conjures up an image of those all you-you-can-eat, Friday Night fried seafood buffets. You are missing out! Frog Leg stew is a big favorite round these here parts, and if ye like New England Style Clam Chowder, you will LOVE East Tennessee Frog Leg Stew! All ye do, is just get your favorite Chowder recipe, and substitute fresh, minced frog legs for the clams, and that is it! Make sure you use the white base instead of the red base, it works much better. The chowder comes out smooth, and distinctly non-fishy tasting, and we all love it! No frogs were harmed in the making of this here chowder, they were actually improved, both in taste, and usefulness! Snuffy Snodgrass
